Research Projects and Interests

Research Projects and Interests

I am currently working on a dissertation project which explores how documentaries shape the ways in which we understand the nonhuman world and human’s position in it in the context of the current human-made environmental crisis. Therefore, I am particularly interested in environmental studies, human-animal studies, media and film studies, and posthuman ecology.

Other research interests include postcolonialism, studies in science fiction, I am increasingly interested in gender studies, feminism, and the cultural construction of motherhood.
