Born and educated in Rostock, Stefan Livo received his 1. State Examination in English and Biology in 2014. After his study abroad at the University of Wyoming had kindled his fascination with archaeology and anthropology, his personal and professional interests shifted from the shores of the Baltic Sea to the Pacific coasts of the Americas. Currently, he is preparing a PhD-project about the transcultural constructions of identity in Pacific Northwest fiction.
